Julia StegnerJulia, born on November 2, 1984 in Munich, Germany, grew up in typical family environment, surrounded by her beloved dogs. Athletically inclined, she also studied dance for nine years. At 15, Julia was discovered by a talent scout at the Oktober Fest in Munich who, recognizing her great potential, encouraged her to become a model. After Julia finished high school in the summer of 2002, she went to Paris to pursue a modelling career and was photographed for the cover of Elle. In the winter of 2003 Julia did her first runway shows in Paris and Milan, and after just 16 months she was working with the world's top designers, magazines and fashion photographers. Julia has appeared in several major campaigns: Yves Saint Laurent with Craig McDean, Dolce & Gabbana with Steven Meisel, Sport Max, Ralph Lauren with Bruce Weber, Club Monaco, Tommy Hilfiger and H&M. Her appearances in fashion spreads include Vogue America with Mario Testino, Vogue America with Steven Meisel, Vogue UK, Vogue Nippon with Craig McDean, Harper's Bazaar with Patrick Demarcheleir, Harper's Bazaar with Terry Richardson, Allure with Michael Thompson, W Magazine with Michael Thompson, ID (cover), V, Numero, and Vogue Italia. Julie has also shot with Greg Kadel, Phil Poynter and David Sims.
