I've used IE recently to log on and my Spysweeper popped up with 2 warnings. Using firefox with adblock extension I never got those warnings. Here's a thread to setup ad blocking: http://forums.superiorpics.com/ubbthread...art=1#Post91417

Exactly what Xenaguy said. Use Firefox and the Adblock add-on. It's stopped many problems I've had with this site in the past.
There is also the option of switching to lesser known browsers such as Safari or Opera. Less baddies are made for those. Don't get an IE based browser as you'll be just as vulnerable as IE is itself. Plus, there's a quick preferences option that allows you to disable java and javascript on the fly in Opera. Good stuff.
All in all, for SP, I definitely recommend what the others are saying. FireFox+Adblock=Surfing Goodness

I've never once gotten a virus here...ever, nor a warning. I never see popups, either. Got McAfee, and Netzero DSL stops all that stuff, too.
If you want to troubleshoot errors...here's a guide I used in the past, which helped me fix those. I also defraged my computer, which worked wonders. I recommend defraging every few months.
There's also the newest version of Netscape (9.0 beta) which is now a cousin of Firefox (a number of FF extensions will even work with the browser). It also doesn't suffer from some of the same issues as FF 2.0.0.4 does.

I think the Partypoker Popup comes from Imagevenue. I'm using Firefox. Since yesterday I have Adblock plus instead of Adblock + FiltersetG and I haven't seen any Partypoker since then.

_________________________ If you hate the More Posts boxes, go into <My Stuff> - <Edit Preferences> (it's at the top of the forum above the Google Search) and set one or both of the following options to Yes:
The "Disable see more box on post" controls the top See More Box, the "Disable autoload on bottom page" option controls the bottom see more box.
Be sure to hit the Submit button afterwards.
This will also stop Bulk Image Downloader from loading the "See More" posts.
I'm on IE 6.0 SP2 and no other updates and no problems. NEVER. I did NO MODIFICATIONS to IE. ALL works perfect. It must be his computer. Of course i'm always logged in. NO PROBLEMS.
