My PC can handle it with all of the settings on high, however my friend's PC keeps crashing or sending him to the desktop after a few seconds of playing. He's got 1gb of RAM, so it shouldn't be that and his graphics card is 512mb (nvidia...not sure which model) but it's about6 or 7 months old and already sems to be out of date
