Quote: Yay, you get to make a post every time you buy a new CD! I just got around to getting the Evanescence "Anywhere But Home" CD/DVD combo.
I just so love Amy Lee. She is so beautiful and she is way way talented. If you guys haven't heard The Open Door, you should pick it up. It is better than any previous albums and is the best album i have bought in the last 5 years.

^I love with those NOW CDs they always have the obligatory 2 or 3 rock songs that are basically the worst representation of what rock is and where it, as a whole, is at that specific moment in time.

This guy is a lot better than people realize. Maybe not on the level of Kanye West, Common, or T.I., but he's close enough and this is his first album. There's a lot of good lyrics combined with some good beats as well. Of course, there are a few tracks that are fluff, but I guess the producers wanted to attract casual and hardcore rap fans.
