"I have an agent and I love fashion and modeling and all that kind of stuff," Maroney said. "It's definitely one of my other passions, other than gymnastics."
That's interesting, I didn't know McKayla had an agent and was going in that direction. It makes sense that she's into modeling. She seems to know what she's doing when posing for pictures.
There have been some websites and her twitter followers suggesting she go on "Pretty Little Liars". That show is already stacked with hot chicks. If they added McKayla that would be intense.
It's hilarious how McKayla is playing up the "I'm not impressed" thing. You know the press is dying to destroy her over this, but she plays right into it, making a laughing stock out of it and gives them nothing to go on. But, give the press time, they'll dig up or fabricate something to try to bring her down.
She's more famous for that face than Gabby for winning the All-Around
I noticed that. With the Lolo Jones drama in mind, I wonder if deep down, there are any hard feelings. But then again, in the end, they all won the gold medal as a TEAM.
The good thing is that all 5 are being recognized, making appearances together, etc. I think besides the meme, it's the boys that are giving her attention. Like Shawn Johnson in 2008

She knows her 15 minutes are now and if she wants to try other things, now would be the perfect time to do so. It will remain to be seen if she's got any talent in acting (or whatever she wants to try), but I suppose a quick cameo couldn't hurt.

It was certainly interesting (and smart, too) that she chose to play along with the meme. Because, whether she likes it or not, this thing has taken off and seems to show no signs of stopping soon...she had 3 choices, really- she could embrace it, denounce it or ignore it altogether. By going along with it she is cultivating a public image and this may be to her benefit later on.
