The "Disable see more box on post" controls the top See More Box, the "Disable autoload on bottom page" option controls the bottom see more box.

This will also stop Bulk Image Downloader from loading the "See More" posts.
This seems to happen when the number of replies the forum says are in a thread is lower than the number of replies that actually are. If you make a post and delete it, it apparently retabulates the replies and fixes it (although in other cases deleted posts seemed to be the source of problem).
The reported number of replies is caught up with the actual number of replies now. It should be working again.
My approval ... I think the following reply fooled me.
