When was the last time you watched? He already got his "golden shower" "personalized gold crown."
I've also been a fan of the books for years, and have been amazed at how closely HBO has followed the story. I can only pick out a few inconsistencies they threw in to speed up the story. The cast has been amazing, my only beef is they made King Robert more of an asshole than he was in the book. I liked him in the book.
If you're not a fan of reading, look for the audio book read by Roy Dotrice. One of the best readings ever, you will not be disappointed.
