What a horrible show. I loved every second of it.
I loved that they are moving things forward rapidly. I loved that there are ten different things going on and none of them feels like a side story. I love that they are swinging for the big fences this season...take important characters and go all the way with them.
DEXTER got itself in trouble by using up some of the most important potential story lines right off the bat. TRUE BLOOD meanwhile has been avoiding its "main mythology" in favor of little side stories (witches, dog fighting, were-panther drug hamlets, pixieland) that led nowhere because they were unrelated to the main stem of the story. They seem to be done with that this year:
You want the Authority storyline, you finally get it. You want Tara to die already, you (sort of) finally get it. You want Jessica to actually grow a pair (of fangs) and do some really bad shit, you (probably) will finally get it. You want Terry to finally have his war stuff come back into play, boom...you get it.
A lot of stuff was just straight ripped off form other things (hello, Pet Cemetary!)...but who fucking cares...its guts and goo and naked all over the place.
There is no process more fun to watch than that going in Jason Stackhouse's brain when he has to "figure stuff out."
Russell Edgington is going to make so much love. What if we took the shark from JAWS and gave him a fantastic art collection, a gorgeous drawl, an infectious laugh, and an endless enthusiasm for torture? Oh, and then he can fly.

I stopped watching last season because it was shit, but with nothing to watch these days with seasons being over my hand was forced..so i watched the new one... and I was happy for
Jessica in corset and tight dress Eric's hot sister Ike Applebaum
Just watched the first episode of season 5 this morning and knew Eric's sister looked familiar. Thought it was because she slightly resembled Rachel Weisz and then realised that she was (Maid) Marian in the recentish BBC version (about 4 years ago) of Robin Hood. Marian got killed in that version though and the actress (Lucy Griffiths) has lost a lot of weight since then, that's why I didn't recognise her right away
