I'd be geeked, too; if she keeps working on her acting (and, nowadays, her writing), Gomez could be the next Lucille Ball. And since it's the 21st century, she doesn't have to be made to look frumpy to be funny like Ball did.
If Nick & Disney properly guide & develop their flocks of comedy actresses, we can enjoy some great comedy careers from these young women.

The problem is, it's my impression that Disney doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about their young stars once Disney is done with them after a TV series ends, or they stop casting them in Disney-produced movies. The stars are on their own after that, in my opinion.
