Just watched this new show out of Canada called Continuum and it's awesome. Cool tech, hot chick who kicks ass, cool location and setting.

here's the basic premise

Vancouver City Protective Services (CPS) Protector Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) is transported from the year 2077 to 2012 when a group of terrorists from her time escapes execution by fleeing to present day.

and now she needs to get them and figure a way back home.

It's good shit from what I saw(episode 1). The acting is a wee bit stiff but otherwise it's fun

And pretty much, anything with Rachel Nichols in it can't be all bad ... love

True enough. Hence why I'm going to give it a go.

Interesting to see the path that the main people are taking and it felt like a satisfying end in a lot of ways. I liked the twist at the end for Finn / Rachel / Kurt as it wasn't what I was expecting. I thought that this should have been the series finale instead of season finale. Still find it hard to believe they're doing another season. While the people that haven't graduated have some quality characters I'm not sold on them being the stars of the group. And how are they going to track the graduates? I am curious about all that but this has to be the final season.

I have watched Glee up to this point, but personally I thought this latest season was mostly awful. The show's largest problem is that they keep adding more and more characters for no reason when many of the ones who already exist are not even fully developed. This means everyone is always fighting for screentime (except for the leads like Rachel and Finn), and it also means the writers keep trying to take emotional shortcuts by randomly pairing up characters and telling us we should care about their relationship when we haven't even spent five minutes watching them be in love. Sam and Mercedes is the perfect example of this - almost their entire relationship was off camera, and we're supposed to be charmed by how they're so cute together or something? The show is so scatterbrained, I honestly only care about three characters out of the 200 they've introduced: Sue Sylvester, Brittany Pierce, and Kurt's dad. It's probably going to get even worse next season, because they'll be tracking stuff outside the school, like Rachel in New York, and then they'll probably add EVEN MORE characters to the glee club to replace the ones who left, so there will be even less available screentime to go around. I'm not going to watch next season, because they're moving it to Thursday, and I love me some NBC Thursdays a lot more than Glee.

From the little bit I've seen, I prefer Victorious. Better setting and cast.

I've been watching Continuum, too, Hawkeye. I think the second episode was better than the pilot, and for a Canadian show all of the special effects actually look fantastic. Should also mention that Lexa Doig is in it, too. wink

I thought New Girl was the best new comedy of the season, as much as I can say that with my obvious Zooey Deschanel-loving bias. I found Suburgatory's humor to be really bland, except for some of the things that kid Ryan said.

Just got done watching the first couple episodes.

First off, Rachel Nichols is undeniably hot.

Second, while it's not without its flaws, it's also entertaining. Color me interested.

'Rookie Blue' - with Missy Peregrym, is MUCH better this season. I recommend it.

Last night, the kid from the 'Treat williams/Emily vancamp/colorado show, shot and killed a kid robbing a store, and they couldn't find 'the gun', so as a cop, he was facing big charges.. (I replayed the scene frame by frame and confirmed that he had a gun - and also saw it in real-time first time through the scene..so..where was the gun???

....the payoff was that there was a second robber that grabbed the gun, kept down below the counter, and slunk out the back sight unseen...and I couldn't figure it out until the end when they wrapped it up..and I thought of a dozen scenarios, but not that one....It was a great ep, and the show is getting grittier and moreso a cop drama than last season's 'Missy in love' stories. But there is plenty of Missy, (as Bill Murray) "so I got that goin' for me"

Give it a look..you'll be hooked.

Two Broke Girls is one of the most mediocre shows I have ever seen but is worth watching for two reasons, both of which are on Kat Dennings' chest drool

I've got a completely different take on the series finale. Considering how shitty the show became in seasons 5 through 8, I felt like the finale was a good payoff for House to finally pay back Wilson for all of Wilson's loyalty to him as a friend to over 8 seasons. House usually treated Wilson like crap. It was very un-House for him to give up his career just to spend 5 months with the dying Wilson.

BTW, I was unable to see this ep on regular TV, and I thank Hulu and broadband for being able to see it.

I also want to thank Hulu for letting me see the season finale of Revenge, which I also missed. It threw a few curves that had me totally caught off guard. Can't wait for season 2 -- which will be on Sundays.
