good book. not quite as action packed as the movie previews lead me to believe, but still an entertaining read.

tried to read the authors other book "pride and prejudice and zombies", I was only able to get about 10% through it. I just couldn't get into the story.

reads exactly as it sounds from the title, like a survival guide. an entertaining, but thoroughly forgettable book. I just read it cause I want to read the 'follow up' book "World War Z".

On second thoughts, don't bother with this turgid snorefest. Well writen, even poetic, but dull as dishwater.

Now starting 'The Forever War' by Joe Haldeman.
