It is a three-way final, right? There's not another double-elimination next week. Only one celeb goes home, the remaining three perform two dances the following Monday, one gets eliminated @ the start of the show the final night, and the final two pairs do one more dance for the judges.

So, either Katherine makes the finals (as you seem to have said earlier), or both William and Donald do. Also--after eight weeks--I can't really believe she's being viewed as a big-titted blonde. She's exuded nothing but class, and the way she dealt with Monday's wardrobe issue certainly solidified her ability as a performer.

BTW, five of the last six finals have been two gals and a guy, so maybe female viewers might actually prefer talent over "meat". Besides, another part of the "hunk" factor is that the two guys could split that vote, with one essentially knocking out the other.

All that said,any one of these four would be a worthy champion, IMO. This has been one of the most competitive seasons DWTS has ever had.

I like your theory.

Since we're down to 2 girls and 2 guys, the votes are obviously going to start splitting in some sort of fashion. I'd certainly love to see the actual votes for each celebrity right now, but in the meantime, we'll all have to guess as to who's in what position.

Lets look at this in terms of ranking.....

Maria is without a doubt in the number one position. She's danced flawlessly. She's fresh faced. Popular. She's been dancing with freak'n broken ribs! And she's with Derek, which doesn't hurt.

Donald and William will with out a doubt have a problem with votes splitting. They're just about equal when it comes to dancing. It might just come down to which hunky guy the ladies might want to see more of.

Katherine has been very consistant so far. Its obvious with the training of Mark Ballas. And although her being in the bottom 2 this week might put her in a little jeopardy, she might just be saved by any of the votes coming off of the split between Donald and William.

And you're right. Any of them would make a worthy champion. Although....I am a little biased toward my love Cheryl Burke. LOL

It won't be William, not American enough for the voting public.

My prediction is either Catherine or Donald.

I, too, love Cheryl--have since I first saw her 12 seasons ago (has it really been 12?) . . I had started to wonder if her longevity had actually become a negative factor . . but, given that she finished second last season and has taken a relative unknown like William to the final four this time indicates to me the viewers are still with her.

I still hope Katherine wins (or Cheryl, if not). Nothing against Maria, but I also tend to avoid lining up behind the annointed favorite.

I too have been with Cheryl since day one. I was the one who created the very first DWTS thread on here, and continued to do so throughout the years, minus the times where I was without a computer or internet. I knew from day one that Cheryl was the quote unquote "female face" of DWTS. She has been on more talk shows. And been talked about on the celebrity gossip shows than any other female pro. I don't think that her longevity has been a problem. She's had her share of really great partners, as well as some realy bad ones. I.E Wayne Newton!

Yeah, some years the competitions have been really useless from day one when one person stays on top of the leader board throughout the entire season. It has made me wonder just how long DWTS can go on. Oh yeah I'm sure that they can continue on for years and years digging deeper and deeper into the growing list of forgotten actors, little known singers, athletes, and an aging legend or two. They've tried a million different things to try and make the competition look different. The numerous team dances. The solo dance. Double Eliminations. And who could forget the elevated round dance floor! Whats next? Having them dance in a ring of fire? LOL

How about each couple doing a synchronized pole dance? And replace Brooke Burke as co-host with Kate Gosselin!

Does Tom Bergeron deserve to be tortured in that manner? LOL

Looks like Maria & William are definitely in the finals, with Katherine & Donald neck & neck for the third spot.
