Last one I had to watch before Avengers. I enjoyed it. I am no Portman fan but by the end of every movie I love her she's too pretty and cute to deny. I thought Chris Hemsworth was good and it's funny because he sounded just like Russel Crowe in a lot of scenes. Those accents coming out

they need to give Sif her own movie, Jaimie Alexander is tooooo hot.

My only complaint is how stupid it was as the bridge is falling Odin magically wakes up, has enough time to gain his senses, get dressed and get to the end of the bridge which is on the other side of the kingdom juuuusssttt in time I hate when illogical shit like that is thrown at the audience.

This would rank as a second tier super hero movie. Top 5 Marvel.

oh and I thought Jane Foster was like en EMT or nurse or something? Now she's magically some astrophysicist.

I don't have a grade for this film at this time. I must ponder.

Contraband


It was alright. It had a good cast like Beckinsale,Ribisi, and Ben Foster but it was a pretty sloppy script. It was entertaining for someone stuck in a hotel room for 4 days.

btw NO idea why Beckinsale was blonde in this.. she's superior as a brunette.

I just saw The Hunger Games. I liked it. I thought it was very good.

Like Crazy


Much like the relationship in this film it was a roller coaster. The chemistry between the leads is very intimate and believable. The way their performances carry the movie is sort of unique for a love story. It was very organic. That said the ending was ambiguous which can work sometimes but usually irks me. In this case the ending happened, I drew my conclusion and I was sad for it.

Both Felicity Jones and Yelchin were great. Even in a supporting role Jennifer Lawrence was great. She conveyed true heartbreak in the small amount of time she had to show it.

first half of this movie was an A. The second half was a C. It sort of leaves you depressed because like what happens with the couple in this movie happens with most of us in relationships.

Felicity Jones is a star.

Just re-watched "16 Candles" on HBO. Classic fun, and Molly Ringwald sitting on the hall floor in the school building showed off some great stems!
