I thought everyone knew that a woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood! cheeky

So, in best politician style, I guess what I'm saying is "That's a good question, but I think what you really mean to ask is 'How long is a piece of string?'"

That's a hell of a field man, narrow it down for me a little, are you talking or fed, the parties? Harper? The teachers saying they aren't being paid enough?

The fact that with Todays technologies it should be easy as pie for them to post a chart provincially or fed wise of money coming in and money being spent, as to re assure the public that money is going to causes.. we might disagree with how it's being spent but can see that yeah hospitals teachers and police are getting there due amount? sorry been wanting this for years

But Yeah Canadian politics is a massive field and that there are a few things wrong with it.

that being said... There are some things I'm happy about. I'm glad that the libs are looking as a massive change in "promises" for the next election, I'm looking forward to hearing out the NDP's new plan... lots of things could be better, but it could be a lot worst.

I've been hearing how the country has taken a massive right turn and Reagan/Thatcher are the role models now. It's just boggling how Canada could go that crazy. cheeky

You think it's crazy that we have a conservative prime minister Cut?

You might want to see the result of liberal policies and socialist wild spending? Just look no further than my home province

You got the current student unrest over tuition fee hikes (which btw.. have not been raised in over 6 years and they are much much lower than americans pay for higher education) and widespread corruption in the construction industry that has ties to the Mafia. Then there is the overcrowding of our hospital emergency wards and the ridiculous amount of time people have to wait to have a doctor see them.

This is going to be a long one man lol

I can only really speak for myself as a Canadian on this one. If others want to add to it or point out where I'm off by my guest... Politics isn't generally a focus on my life

Honestly barely remember the 80;s too well.
So Pierre Trudeau isn't fresh in my mind think he was a lib... He brought in a lot of nice things though from what i know about him for Canada, problem is we couldn't really afford them. Been told for many decades he's the rest my country will be in debt for as long as i live and beyond... if this is true then it's not a good thing.

I remember Brian Mulroney being in power, and think he was after Trudeau. I know we can thank him for GST, which i think everyone thought he was joking or lying about bring in. But he kept his word and well i think most have forgot about the Convs bring that in.

Think Jean Chrétien came in after him, and sort of remember him... but he wasn't much of what one would call a strong leader... other than bring in the gun registry that wasted a lot of Canadian's money i can't remember him doing anything too new worthy.

Now Harper is in power and yeah he's a righty or so they say. So far he's made it so we pay less taxes which is good so far as i'm concerned. I do have massive concerns about his environmental views, but he didn't really win the last election. The libs last elections gave it to him on a silver plate

here's what the lib's did wrong in my eyes at least.

A) The guy they had in running for Prime mister didn't even seem to like to spend his time in Canada. Now i love my brothers to the south, but I Am Canadian, and love this land of mine, I love the Hockey, Ruby, wings nights, the cold winters, and sexy summers.. I love my Tim Horton's coffee every other day lol, so i can't see why anyone would want to vote for someone that is like yeah... can being prime mistery be a stepping stone to something better?

B) he can off as a cry baby when he tried for that coalition government.

C) he made Canadian's get off our asses to vote again because of him trying to find a loop hole... Note to all those running for office, Don't annoy your public before running,

Now Personally I have nothing again Libs, other than the guy they had running for Prime Minister. I hear that the next election there are going in a new direction and I'm pumped for it,

I'd like to say that at least some Canadian's are like me and we aren't about so much the parties history as much as, ok this is there goal and directions for now, and this another point of view, and then pick the one that's closes to what we think is best for Canada and out personal lives. So i don't believe it's so much as a Right turn as much as the Left isn't giving us reasons to vote for them... Hopefully next election they will bring something nice to the table
