Yeah I wish I'd taken dark channel with me in my last few missions as a sentinel. I figured warp+throw would do for biotic explosions so I picked warp ammo, but then I hardly used my weapon anyway. I relied on Javik's dark throw but he just died too easily.
Glad I "saved" Kaidan (PS3), I actually found him to be a really useful squadmate. Vega and Garrus were enough as pure damage dealers. He almost caught me off guard with his gay romance but I let him down gently lol
Vega is not designed as damage dealer, he is your Tank in the Squad. Garrus can do moderate damage.
Ashley is your Pure Damage Dealer, Put a Revenant in her Hands and she mow everyone down in sight. Max out Marksman Ability correctly and she will be unstoppable. I wish we could get Ashley much Earlier in the game.
If you mean Kaidan is useful as at being useless than you are correct. I'm glad I strapped him to that Nuke.

Even if you clearly stated that Stargazer was Shepard then people would then complain that your ending was to clear.
It has nothing to do with Pleasing everyone. Their so many dam plotholes and other things that are never explained. We were promised one thing and BioWare gave us the exact opposite of that.
Don't try to defend the Endings. Mac Walters screwed up massively with his hack Ending.
God knows I tried giving the guy the benefit of doubt. It's awful stuff. And my Shepard SURVIVED, thus I got the "perfect" ending.
I wonder if the people who "liked" the ending(s) are the ones who've played 6+ ME1 and ME2 playthroughs, or if they're mostly the newcomers.

It's defiantly Newcomers and people who don't pay close attention to the ME Story.
True fans of the series did not enjoy the Ending one bit.

Once again people are right to have their opinions. Just as other opinions are valid. There is no fact that proves the endings were good or bad.
Like I have said in the past I have no problem with the ending in the game. Maybe if people start a new thread for just the ending talk we can get to the point. Cause just saying you suck for not hating the ending helps no one online at all. And it doesn't help bioware get to the bottom of why some are mad here raving like a five year olds.
And if you want to reply with some elitist stuff save your time. I'm not here to prove how much of a gamer I am.

No Fact? How about a ME3 Writer Saying it was Bad.
The Ending is Bad no matter how you try to spin it. I just don't think your getting why most people don't like the Ending.
I explained my take on the Ending and why it failed horribly a few time(In great length too).
Anyways, time to move on and see what the future holds for the series.

I don't want to drag this out into an argument (since I know you dislike Kaidan) but how is Kaidan useless? His damage output is lower than Ashley, sure, but that's because he is power focused. Reave is gold, overload is one of my fav powers in the game and cryo blast is handy if a bit situational. He is basically Miranda but with better survivability due to barrier. He also wields an AR which gives him better weapon damage than most other power based squadmates.

Boring does not equal useless.
You do know I was being sarcastic Right?
He is no anywhere near Miranda level. Miranda is 100x more powerful than Kaidan will ever be. Miranda would biotic slam him & than toss him across the battlefield.
If you enjoy using him in combat than use him. With the Classes I play he is completely useless to me unlike the other Squad Mates.

Lol as long as Kaidan didn't see her first and reave/cryo + AR her unprotected ass. Didn't you play adept or vanguard in your first playthroughs? I would have thought overload and reave would compliment your biotics nicely! Shield stripping plus a primer for detonations.
Miranda was my fav squaddie in me3 but mainly due to squad bonuses and overload. I didn't actually find her biotics nearly as useful as they seemed in her cutscenes. Samara was my biotic demon.
Guess that's the beauty of having so many character options... I will def do an Ashley playthrough next since I want to play as a caster.
