You can't import your Shepard. Mass Effect 2 even tells you this.

In Mass Effect 2 it shows clear as day how Shepard & Crew Died.

think he means in me3 as far as I know you just make a new shepard and thats it but could be wrong
Dead Shepard save can not be imported into ME3.
If your Shepard dies in the end of Mass Effect 2, that's the end of him/her.
