You are painting a group of people with the same stereotypical brush JT.
Not everyone who happens to be religious whatsoever...is big on having or using guns. Gun enthuiasts do come from religious or non religious backgrounds.
I imagine the actual percentage of gun collecters/enthuiasts being religious/atheist or agnotic is pretty evenly split.
I consider myself a christian and I am not a particular fan of having guns in the house I never owned a gun or even shot a gun.

Well stereotypes are the truth many times. There's alot of bible toting people that carry guns and preach 2nd amendment. I'm NOT SAYING EVERYONE that is into christianity or other religion is into guns. And I'm NOT SAYING EVERYONE into guns are religious. But there is a huge group of people that are both. Which I find really hypocritical. If you believe in God so much, there is no need for weapons.
Hell there's even a huge population of people that think Obama is a Muslim

Ah, but dbl loves religion, and thinks that societies without god will destroy themselves, or something like that anyway.
I honestly couldn't say that dbl isn't intelligent, which I would think (and he's made statements to this effect) is why he's not religious. However, if you picture a spectrum of religiosity, he's the closest you can get to that section of the spectrum where people actually believe in a god, without actually falling within it.
I admit I just responded to what is an intangible, but, in any case, your statement doesn't contradict JT's.
