The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo(Swedish version) - 4/5
Everything I disliked about the Fincher version is fixed in this. I actually gave a crap about Lisbeth, it worked for me so much better. The structure is so much stronger. So much better.

Underwhelmed. A bit overlong. I also didn't care for Lisbeth at all. I found the part of the story concerning the mystery far more intriguing than anything involving Lisbeth's life, which just seemed to drag the parts of the movie I found interesting down. Though she gets easier to take when she actually has something to do that's relevant to the plot.
Not bad, with some good performances. Just didn't wow me.

The Swedish version outdid Fincher's for me. Everything was better for me in it.

The problem with this movie is I've only left it 20 minutes ago and I have already gone from thinking "it's about as good or a bit better than the first" to "meh, that movie sort of sucked" ... so imagine how i'll feel in 20 more minutes...
The problem with this film is the characters.
This movie is about Perseus just like the first one. I am supposed to care about him, believe in him, look up to him, want to go to war with him. Except I don't. I don't care about him or any of his stupid family or friends. Maybe it's a poorly written character or maybe Sam Worthington's acting just doesn't portray hero ish qualities. But I just do not give a fuck about him. He's not a hero. Maximus, that's a hero. Spartacus, that's a hero. And the actors who portray make me believe.
Then this movie has its token useless character that big budget popcorn flicks love to add. In this case it's Andromeda who does nothing at all in this movie to make me think she was worth writing into the script. And I love me some Rosamund Pike, I want to bone that chick until my heart expires, but she was useless. She didn't help and her stupid army didn't help. When you go to war with demons and other hellish creatures an army with swords and spears is as inept as JJ talking to girls.
The big bad bad bad monster we are supposed to fear.. .just like the kraken in the first is easily dispatched by a hero who I would wipe my ass with.
I am a big Neeson fan, but not even he's that great in this.
Ralph Fiennes.. mehhhhhhh
The best part of this movie aside from Pike eyecandy is Bill Nighy who plays a cooky Hephaestus who you can tell is enjoying his role and his few scenes are the best in the movie.
Édgar Ramírez was decent as Ares. Glad to see a Bourne baddy get another role
I didn't find the backdrop in which are characters travel through very interesting either. I was bored most of the movie.

Robin Williams is back!! Amazing acting, great movie. It has been a while, since I last saw him acting only the way he knows best! Fantastic film, dark comedy, insightful, at times uncomfortable. Highly recommendable!

Green Lantern.
I didn't want to see this at all for 2 reasons.
1.Thought that by the trailers that there was tooooo much CGI like for example his suit.
2.Ryan Reynolds although I like him I don't like him in the lead role of movies.
so...
1.I see why they used CGI on his suit, it worked(except his mask was gay)
2.I didn't have a problem with him as Hal Jordan.
I figured there was 10%chance I would like this. I enjoyed it. I was entertained. I thought the big bad was lame as fuck and was defeated far too easily and he never once made me think "oh no".I liked the big big Lantern who first trained Hal.Blake Lively was hot as fuck and played the same role she always plays.
Movie wasn't in the same class as the superhero movie standard Iron Man/TDK/X-Men First class. It wasn't even in the 2nd tier of super hero movies but in the third. Much better than shit like the first hulk, the fantastic four movies and shit like that. I was surprised I enjoyed it.
Grade:C+
note: I don't know the Lantern history very well so I have no idea how good it does of the mythology. But the script was pretty basic paint by the numbers.

One for the money? More like One for the garbage
Don't let the sexy cover fool you...
I actually don't mind most of her movies, even the ones that are considered bad are entertaining. How many bounty hunter movies do we need? This movie is terrible on all levels and her accent is horrid(not sure how accurate it is). She's super hot as a brunette and all but PASS
