I liked the Cole celebration tonight, nice and subtle. Not like Foligno jumping around like an ass after his first goal against Colorado.
I figure with the last two games nationally televised for the Avs, Gabriel Landeskog had to clinch the Calder trophy this week. Plays like a beast with the flu and scores the overtime winner against Anaheim, then gets the Avs into OT with an incredible rush to set up a goal with 0.7 left.
I went ballistic when McGinn scored. Playoff intensity hockey, waking up my neighbours and shortening my life expectancy. Totally worth it!
Oh I understand what it meant, but I think that just because your dad acted like a douche when he scored, doesn't mean you have to as well. In all honesty though I probably would've liked it if he did it against anybody but the Avs, and since the Avs won it doesn't piss me off as much as it did when it happened. That's sports though!

come on. Jumping once after you score a goal is not a douche move. You're a young kid and you score a goal that's a big one in your early career, celebrate. Remember Teemu Selanne throwing the glove in the air and using his stick to pretend to shoot it? It's just an excited kid celebrating.
I hate when people say stuff like that is unsportsmanlike too. Those people should switch to watching dull shit like golf
It's not really a big deal, so long as he doesn't make a habit of it, which he definitely won't. It's fine to celebrate and all but when it looks like some rookie is showing up your team it will definitely piss some people off. Look at what Mike Milbury was saying during intermission. He's still pissed at papa Foligno for jumping around like an idiot after he scored, though he seems generally pissed all the time anyway.
Who was it, Artem Anisimov celebrating a goal for the Rangers earlier this year by 'sniping' the goalie? That almost caused a line brawl!
That's actually pretty awesome quality. Better than his wave 
Nick did it for the Sens too when he scored his first goal. I have no problem with it.
