So I played through ME3 and absolutly hated the ending. I thought it might have just been the ending I got so I looked up videos of the other endings, and they where all shit. I was really upset but now I think I've figured it out.
We bought DLC for ME2 cos it was leading into ME3, why would you buy more missions for ME3 when you've already finished not just the game but the whole trilogy? I'm thinking they deliberately gave us such crap endings so we would download DLC that allowed Shepard to be more prepared and get a better ending. It's devious but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.
I have no problem with the ending because they told you every step of the way that death was going to happen. I could see if there was some grey area to this game where you might have got your hopes up. But the game was one note the whole time.
you must really like Bad Endings with plotholes and with no solid conclusion to a trilogy..
The Data App for iPhone & iPad is now out. You now have another way to increase your Readiness level. App also has the complete Codex, Mass Effect 3 News & Media. Plus E-Mails sent from Characters.
------------------
The Dialogue between Matriarch Aethyta and Liara is golden.
I'm finding allot more dialogue if you play as a Female Shepard, Specially if you Romanced Liara in ME1.

I think that standards must be high for a series of games I've put god knows how many hours into. I don't demand a happy ending with rainbows and ponies, but I do expect a good, satisfying ending.

all I want is an ending that make sense that gives me an idea of what happened to my crew and shep after fact is the endings now have 3 choices but they are all the same really I would be happy with the endings if they just had shepard transport to the ship and then give us a dragon age origins type epilouge but we just got an old guy and kid and a well done now go buy dlc
I love the whole movement to get a better ending more and more people are joining and so far they have raise 10k for charity so I dont see bioware ignoring it

Its an open ending for whatever they want to do in the future. I'd be more pissed from the realization that the ending basically said that every choice in this series doesn't matter because everything you do is already fated to be doomed and you are just a part of a never ending cycle that you cant stop. Whether your good or bad.
To me the ending was the least of the problems for this game. The gameplay was very average with bad combat scenarios. I rather they hire someone who can make better combat than a writer for their next game.
You can basically sum up the Mass Effect series as this:
War never changes.

inthematrix you say
Its an open ending for whatever they want to do in the future
but that is the whole problem all the endings leave no future they can only make games set up to the point me3 ends
btw can you imagine mass effect one the part where you talk with the reaper and instead of saying what it did it said we were created to stop synthetic life killing normal life by wiping out all life every 50 000 years

The endings leave a future for new characters in a new cycle. But I think people are missing the point.
NONE OF it matters. Because FATE has dictated that a new cycle always will happen no matter what.
So yes you could have bispecies children with liara at the beginning of the cycle and you can be the adam and eve of the cycle. But by the time that a mass effect 4 would come around your children would have grand children if written correctly.

I really wished they stuck with the Originally concept of the Reapers & Endings.
We wouldn't have 6 million theories about the endings. My theory and one other still makes the most sense.

We get it troll, You don't like the game and you want to bash Mass Effect 3. You don't have to keep posting the same thing every few pages. Do it somewhere else.
