Though I agree there wasn't a classic cliffhanger ending to the season I hold no bad feelings towards the makers. They were taking a big risk with the series and had it crashed+burned then leaving things on a cliffhanger would have severly peeved off the few loyal viewers who had stuck with it, and probably made a dvd release not as enticing to new viewers. So what we got was a kind of Walking Dead Book 1 type of affair, telling a complete(ish) story. No doubt they'll craft next season to end on a suitable wow-omg ending.

And yes it is true that Prison Break had very OMG WOW! type cliffhangers that worked very well for that show. I've seen every episode.

It's true they had no idea if there was gunna be a 2nd season when they made this.

Also, all the stuff they don't explain, (the redneck with 1 hand, where the zombies came from, WTF happened to the black guy from the movie Snatch and his kid?, etc) it should be fairly obvious that they don't resolve these things intentionally.

I honestly can't wait for the next season. I play the game left 4 Dead all the time, it's awesome. There are going to be more survivors out there. The fact they just ran out of a building that just exploded and hopped in their cars and have absolutely no place to go is cliffhanger enough for me.

Been a while since anyone posted in this thread but I just watched this weeks episode (S02E12).

My Dad had read a bit of the graphic novel and had told me that the events from the end of this episode were going to happen so even though I knew it was coming it was still a bit of a surprise

that was the ending I was waiting for I wanted that all season and I finally got it.

That's what should be good about this show, it's designed to kill off and bring in new characters. The comic inherently establishes that formula for the show.

And while I've already read all the issues of the comic, the show can be like an alternate universe where things don't follow exactly like the comic.

im kinda new to the show and fell in love with it after the first episode i watched.i really was surprised but the ending of the last episode.cant wait for next week.

One down (Shane) two to go (Lori and Andrea). After that this show will be much less annoying. Anyways loved Sunday's episode. the ending scenes between Shane, Rick, and Carl were fantastic.

Also, Carl is a pretty amazing shot, isn't he? Put one right over his Pa's shoulder, straight into Zombie Shane's brain. Had to be one confident little fucker to even take that shot, too. You'd think John Locke were also in the group of survivors teaching Wal-, err, Carl how to shoot.

This world has enough Lori's already. In a zombie apocalypse, I'd put a bullet in her head on day 1.

In the comic, Lori finally does get killed off. Which leads to Rick and Andrea hooking up. Bit that is the comic and things can go differently on the show. That's why I don't think Andrea will be leaving any time soon if they plan on doing that story line in the future.

The copter that was responsible for creating the zombie herd that went to the farm was the same one Rick saw when he was in the city in season 1. I think that whoever is in that copter is connected to the governor or it's the governor himself flying overheard looking around.

Michonne intro to the show was awesome. I wasn't expecting to see her character debut until next season.
