30 days seems to make more sense than 2 weeks... often one finds upgrades and such for at least 2 weeks after an initial posting.
Doesn't matter really. I personally would not post pics that were done even within the month unless COMPLETELY different quality/size with some adds. (or if nothing shows up in search which happens all too often...)
It didn't matter to me much except for thinking I had to review the rules before reporting things. But I figure it can't be too pleasant for people who post original material, to have them reposted so soon by somebody else.
This particular "repost" was 7-1/2 weeks after the original. (March 8/April 31) ...

Why are chat threads immediately deleted once closed?
If it's to save space, why not delete the dozens of chats still locked away (but not deleted yet).
Edit: dragonninja ... They don't all get deleted. Depends on who starts up the new one. Not all staff delete the old ones
Edit: XenaGuy ... I don't. I figure it's pretty easy to go back and delete a bunch of old chat threads if needed, so I don't delete them when I make a new one.
