As a New User, your first 10 posts must be individually approved by a member of the Moderating Staff. You are not allowed to use BBC code (smilies, etc), or start New Threads, or post new Content. Actually, when you signed up there was a paragraph on one of the pages that denoted the restrictions put in place for New Users. I don't blame you for not reading it, apparently no one does, as the STAFF collectively fields about a dozen posts/PMs a day of the type, "Why don't my posts show up for hours?" It's because there were no Mods online, or the ones who were didn't check for New User posts.
