Then what type of evidence would convince a non-theist?

Something that we could use this with would be a start.

So only evidence that you would accept is evidence that can be physically verified?

What of non-physical minds or entities? How would they be judged according to the Scientific method?

So are non physical things excluded because they are not physical?

Another nugget to think about, if we can't observe or interact with non-physical entities, then it stands to reason that if they existed, they cannot interact with the physical universe, which makes this whole exercise rather pointless, doesn't it?

There is no evidence such things exist. Therefore no reason to believe in them. You can play "what if" all you want, but when it comes down to it, if you can't produce verifiable, physical evidence then your beliefs are as substantial as your average astrology reading.

Another nugget to think about. If non-physical entities exist but we cannot see them or interact with them, then it stands to reason that they cannot interact with the physical universe as well, which makes this exercise rather pointless.

Physical hands on evidence evidently crux....

The kind of evidence the ancient isrealites witnessed firsthand
the power of God..and even with all the many miracles they saw even that failed to convert them...because of the hardness of thier hearts.

Only by the power of the Spirit will convince a non-thesist.

No evidence would ever convince you nbl..

For you have hardened your heart to the things of God..therefore you will never accept God because of it.

*yawn* you keep saying that, but you have no evidence at all. You're all bluster, bluff and bravado with nothing to back it up.

So the existence of non physical entities becomes a philosophical or a moral argument?

The existence of God cannot be proven with 100% certainty scientifically.
