Thing is, after the Dave, Shawn, H3 matches fans now want to see Taker have 'classic big feel' type matches against veterans. Booking Taker / Punk, Taker / Miz, etc just wouldn't live up to the world class matches Taker has had this past half decade.
Other than Cena & Orton there is not one member of the current full time roster that feels like a big enough name to face Taker at a WM.

If Orton could go back on a Legend Killer streak. Or Cena can cement his legacy or heelship. Cena/Taker has to happen before Taker officially retires. Cena is the only one with the "in ring stamina".
