Thank goodness for Biron who has played well in his 2 starts. Not sure how much of it is just Lundqvist and how much of it is bad defense in front of him.
Gaborik (2 for 19 in SO in his career entering this) with the winner!

With the talent the Sharks have had the last decade, they should have won the Stanley Cup at least once. Nabokov was a tremendous goalie for so many years, but always choked in the playoffs, the whole team did, but they've always had the talent to win.

You can add Thorton and Marleau, they are terrible come playoff time.

Yep, but Thornton and Marleau are the first two guys Doug Wilson keeps when he does his annual retooling of the team. But that only lasts for so long. They finally got rid of Nabokov, which was nice. He had his chances. And after only a couple seasons with Dany Heatley, they ejected his playoff disappearances too. So far Martin Havlat looks like a good upgrade.
One guy they didn't get rid of fast enough was d-man Mike Rathje, years ago. In his early years *I* could have skated around him. I was not unhappy to see him go. He was not liked by many Sharks fans, and was often booed in his home rink.
Don't forget how bad Dany Heatley was for SJ in the Playoffs.
He was the definition of non-factor last year.
