...That may be so tgas but the extreme side of islam far outnumber those on the christianity side....
And of course that's the way I see it too these days, at least in terms of militarism.
But I fear that may be a pyrrhic victory, being satisfied with having fewer extremists. Ours may not work with explosives, but I've seen them spew the most hateful, hurtful vitriol at their own countrymen and women, for little reason other than a sanctimonious belief that God has already judged the righteousness of their cause. In that respect, they start to look and sound disturbingly like their Islamic counterparts.

Islam is still a power, unlike Christianity, which has had it's power curtailed until it has to play nice. There is very little difference between the Islam of now and the Christianity of a few centuries back.

Yes unfortunately they do exist as evidence we have clearly seen right here with Corn Ball AKA EE_EE with his take on black folks. People like Corn Ball who say they're christian and say things like that are clearly not all together in the head but as I said earlier... they are thankfully few and far between to be any actual threat.
I don't think America or Canada for that matter needs to worry about fundemental christian extremists as much as we do need to worry about fundemental islamic extremism...and the muslim community needs to be very concerned with the threat of islamic extremism as well.
I also worry about the militantism growing within the ranks of the athesist movement...and that bodes ill as well for our society.
