Has anyone installed this new version yet? I find that when I run it that it uses 1.5gb ram and slows my machine down and in the task manager it shows Firefox using the ram but there are a lot of plugin containers running when there should be one only. When it restarts it only uses 200mb only tabs open are facebook & twitter but within an hour it racks upto 500mb and keeps going. be great if anyone can shed some light on why Firefox does this. rch757 New Member Registered: 11/15/06 Posts: 43 Loc: shipwrecked and comatose	This happened to me not too long ago and it turned out not to be Firefox- it was an exceptionally nasty bunch of viruses that hijacked Firefox processes. I used AVG Anti-Rootkit, Malwarebytes AntiMalware and Trend Micro's Housecall. I had to run them several times each before I got results.
