The bias is entirely one-sided where I am concerned.

I have argued against crony capitalism by the right and the left relentlessly and have even proposed a solution that would entirely eliminate a huge tool of crony capitalism - the corrupt income tax code.

But all I get is silence or worse from those leftists purporting to be for an end to corruption in government.

It would appear that leftists here only care about silencing the voices on the right, while defending corrupt leftist politicians because "their hearts are in the right place."

Whereas I am critical of both those on the "right" (actually RINO's) and those on the left who pervert the political process to benefit themselves and to retain and even increase their power by ever more extra-constitutional means.

It would be refreshing to see someone on the left here actually criticize the policies of Obama that are nakedly unconstitutional and those that are destructive to our economy. But that will not happen because leftists are, in fact, closet totalitarians who believe in the collectivist agenda and think that a central authority like the federal government knows how best to make things run.

They think that constitutional republicanism and free market capitalism is the source of all evils in this world.

They could not be more wrong.

Yep. That's what leftists really want in their heart-of-hearts. They might not realize that that is what their desires must necessarily produce, but the cold hard truth is that economic equality can only be achieved by a totalitarian regime and a complete surrender of individual liberty and responsibility.

And everything he has written is proved true in this thread alone.

Sadly, not a single leftist here has likely read even a single book on economic theory, so they have no clue about F.A. Hayek, or his debates with Johan Maynard Keynes.
