With WrestleMania tomorrw night, I have decided that tomorrow I'm going to watch one match from each 'Mania consecutively as a way to build up the the event.
This is what I have chosen. . .
1. Hogan and T vs. Piper and Orndorff 2. Bulldogs vs. The Dream Team 3. Hogan vs. Andre 4. DiBiase vs. Savage (I suppose, the event was rotten) 5. Hogan vs. Savage 6. Hogan vs. The Warrior 7. Savage vs. The Warrior 8. Bret vs. Piper 9. Steiners vs. The Headshrinkers 10. Shawn vs. Razor 11. Shawn vs. Diesel 12. The Undertaker vs. Diesel 13. Chicago Street Fight 14. The Outlaws vs. Cactus and Funk 15. The Rock vs. Austin 16. Hardys vs. The Dudleys vs. Edge and Christian 17. The Undertaker vs. Triple H 18. Hogan vs. Rock 19. Hogan vs. McMahon 20. Triple H vs. Shawn vs. B*no*t 21. MitB 22. Cena vs. Triple H 23. I can't decide between Cena vs. Shawn or Batista vs. The Undertaker, so I think I'll watch both. 24. I fucking adore The Undertaker vs. Edge & Shawn vs. Flair just as much, but I think I'll go with the cracking Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather 25. The Undertaker vs. Michaels 26. Cena vs. Batista 27. The Undertaker vs. Triple H
I get the feeling that when I do this list next year, WM28's going to give me an even bigger headache than WMs 23 & 24. Cena/Rock and HHH/Taker in the cell looks like maybe the best double-header ever! On paper, anyway.
UPDATE ON WWE BRINGING TWO VETERANS BACK INTO THE FOLD, ANOTHER ALL TIME GREAT IN MIAMI by Mike Johnson @ 11:22 AM on 3/31/2012
Dave Finlay is back with WWE as an agent and officially started again with the company this weekend. Finlay will be finishing his independent commitments over the next several weeks.
We've gotten one report that Terry Taylor, who is expected to come in and work with WWE's developmental system, is at the WWE hotel in Miami as well.
WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young is also in Miami and appeared this morning at AXXESS in a segment where she got into it with John Laurinaitis after Tedy Long introduced her.
The April 10th Live edition of Smackdown is being advertised as 'WWE goes Old School!'. Scheduled to appear are: Rowdy Roddy Piper, Pat Patterson, Jimmy Hart, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Tony Atlas, Mean Gene Okerland, Howard Finkel, Hillbilly Jim.
WWE issued the following advisory to fans attending the Hall of Fame event:
"WWE would like to welcome you to celebrate The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. In the tradition of this momentous occasion, WWE hopes that you will join them in creating a special atmosphere for their inductees and attendees. The WWE staff and management request that you follow a few simple requests...
In an effort to show respect to the WWE Superstars and Hall of Fame Inductees, WWE asks that there be no chants or cat calls from the audience during the presentations.
Join in the celebration and dress your best! Business casual attire is suggested. Thank you in advance for your assistance in creating a special evening.
WWE hopes that you enjoy the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Wrestlemania 28!"
Wait, you mean the Hall Of Fame might actually NOT be full of bad chants all night this year? Best news ever. It annoys the hell out of me when fans can't go 1 minute without doing some stupid chant in the middle of a speech.
Kind of bitter sweet news about Finlay. I'm glad he's got a good job and paycheck again, but then again it means he's not wrestling.
