are there any epic glitches in this game that let you get things like unlimited money?
I don't use glitches much but the infinite money glitch in Fallout New Vegas saved me from selling random crap to get my caps up
I'm getting it for Christmas so want to know if I should be exploiting any glitches before I let it update itself
unfortunately nothing epic I know of or like Oblivion to dupe items in your inventory, but...
there is one slow process but can get some easy money, get a house not in the first town, Whiterun but in Markarth which has a mannequin, or finish the Dark Brotherhood and have the hideout as your home, with also a mannequin
the trick: place one of your best armors on it, then quickly remove it without leaving the menus, when you leave the house, return at anytime the armor you put on the mannequin will glitch and dupe, while you still have the other set in your inventory
you can rinse and repeat for easy gold over and over, as you keep selling that armor, the catch is most merchants only carry 1000 gold, so might be troublesome if the armor you put on it is 5000 and up, so you might wanna level up your speech to invest in merchants to have higher gold

No gold Glitch, Later on in the game you can get mad money very easily(depending on your Perks). I am way above 100k. I wasn't even trying to get allot of money.

If you have a 360 I would get it on that System instead of the PS3. Their are performance issues and other bugs (like Lag), Which don't exist in the 360 version.
General stability improvements Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC) Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate
Patch Now available for PC Users, Might take week or so for 360 and PS3 Title Update to clear Testing.

good to see the fix with the book cases. I bought the house in solitude and none of my damn books show up on the book cases lol
I hope they do something about the performance issues on ps3 cause it's starting to turn into oblivion where it freezes when I fast travel or leave a building.

Don't count on it. I believe one Developers said it would take a massive overhaul to correct the issues that plague the PS3 Version.

well that sucks ass. I don't have any of these kinds of issues with other games on the ps3. But Oblivion and now Skyrim I do. Bethesda needs to work on making their games run smoothly on every platform. I understand it takes a lot to put a game together for 3 systems, but seriously, it's 2011...get with it Bethesda.

I may be done playing this game...I have tried to play it twice just now after getting home from work and after only 5-10 mins of play each time it has froze up on me to where I have to eject the disc and hit the power button on my PS3. Upon starting the machine back up I get an message saying the system was improperly shut off and it's runs a check of the file system to see if it is corrupted.
I'm not gonna have this game ruin my machine because it's creators cannot make a game that does not have stability issues. It is such bullshit that their last two games Oblivion and now Skyrim both are plagued by the same performance issues. Absolutely ridiculous.
Snoop, I would seriously advise against getting this for the PS3. If you have no other systems to get it for then I hope you have better luck with the game then I have.
I may try to delete the files from my HDD and start over, if it may just be the save files I have that may be corrupted in a way that may be lending to the performance issues. I don't know. I may look into getting it for the PC. It's a fun game when I can play it and not have these mind numbing issues but I can't risk having my PS3 get fucked up because of this game.
Seriously, go on Amazon.com and search Skyrim for PS3 and read how many negative reviews there are for the PS3 version.
I'm playing on PS3 and haven't had a freeze up yet. But I haven't played very long yet (around 15-20 hours) so hopefully things will get fixed in the future.
