Is there a demo for Saints Row 3 yet? I found something that said it was the game demo, but it looks to be just something to upload your created characters.

The Initiation Station is the Character Creator and that's all you will be getting this time around. Their is no planned Demo for gameplay part of SR:TT. Plus they really don't need one.

I think a demo would be a good idea, as there are some people (like me) who haven't played any games in the series and the older ones don't have demos out (either never released or taken down).
If you liked the older GTA games (Vice City, San Andreas) then you'll like Saints Row
Saying that though, I'm going to wait until after Christmas before I get it and Assassins Creed Revelations because I'm sure they'll be around half price some time in January.
Also , I've stickied this thread. Don't know why it wasn't already sticky

Death Dealer seems to like the series more than GTA (probably more violent ). Personally, I've liked every game in the GTA series that I've played. I'd still like to check it out before actually buying one of the games.
You're probably right. After Christmas is going to be a busy time for me with FF-XIII 2 coming out, as well as the Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition.
Not a big deal. Hopefully more people will start using it though for any questions they might have. I forgot all about this thread, but was looking through some of my old posts earlier
I liked Saints Row 2 a lot more than GTA4 but that was mainly because it was like a very good San Andreas clone while GTA4 was too serious and removed most of the fun elements that were in previous games.
You should be able to pick Saints Row 2 up very cheap now anyway. Might even be able to pick both up (1&2)for a few dollars on ebay

I was checking earlier, and SR2 is $24.99 on XBL if I want to download it. Probably cheaper to pick up in a store. I'll look into it next time I'm at the mall. I imagine I could probably get the original for $10 or less if I looked hard enough.
Saint's Row to me has always been more fun than GTA. And no SR is not more violent it is just as violent but in a funny over the top way, GTA is more realistic violence. But customizing and running a gang, not working for someone like in GTA games always as someone's lackey. I like the fact the main hero is fully customizable and not stuck as a default character who can be a complete loser or Russian fruitcake GTA4 had.
