Some of the Press Release can be a bit confusing, if not read Correctly. Basically MP makes it easier to get the "Ultimate Victory" Ending if I'm reading it correctly.

On BioWare Store Front, The Normandy SR-2 Repica Ship(Both Versions) should be shipping Sometime in November for those who ordered it.
I Grabbed the Alliance Version, I hated the look of SR-2 with all Cerberus Colors and Logo painted on it(For being a Black-op Division, They put their logos on everything).

Pay attention to around 2:30 Mark, Casey Confirms you can get the most complete Ending even if you never touch the MP part of the game. MP just adds another way to get that Complete Ending.

I like their superior concept of Multiplayer. Working for a mutual goal at all times seems to take away the ingredient that sours most all multiplayer experiences: imbeciles on the other team.
