green arrow(despite Kho's negative review of it because he's my fave dc) red lantern savage hawkman
and what's the best batman?
Single best Batman title: Probably Batman.
But the stuff to check out for sure:
Action Comics Savage Hawkman The Flash OMAC Batman Batgirl Batman & Robin Nightwing Batwoman Swamp Thing Animal Man Justice League Justice League Dark Wonder Woman Green Lantern Green Lantern: New Guardians Blue Beetle I, Vampire Stormwatch All-Star Western Suicide Squad Voodoo Birds of Prey Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
Then again, it also depends on what type of book you want to read, as they run the gamut of genres.

That might have been the biggest disappointment. I don't understand him at all as a character in this new world. He's gone from this very unique hero to having no voice as a character. I was hoping we'd getting something new, but it just makes Oliver Queen seem so generic.

Would horror be up your alley? While both Animal Man and Swamp Thing deal with powers, they also delve a lot into darkness, especially Swamp Thing. The new mini, The Shade, is also like that. Powers are there, but they are horror books that definitely have an older feel to them.
Deathstroke would be good. All-Star Western is also recommended.
And even though Superman would not seem to be up your alley from that description, I can't recommend Action Comics enough.
