I suppose a couple of members here watched the premiere of this show yesterday, what did you think?

Personally, I liked the first half hour, great opening and character development, but I expected a bit more for a pilot episode. It felt a bit cheesy and predictable at times. Most of the time, it also ends with a cliffhanger, which in that case, didn't.

The viewing numbers are probably disappointing for FOX, it'll be interesting to see how it turns out in the next few weeks.

I've got the feeling that this may be a one season show. Cost productions have got to be through the roof on this show and the rating for the show were middle of the road at best. The Spielberg name doesn't carry the amount of weight that it used to.

As for the show, I thought that it was pretty good despite it's overly preachy first hour and the explanation to get around the butterfly effect. If the whole season is going to be built around that the Colonel guys son is leading the Sixers, it's a bit to cliche'.

I also have a feeling that his son might be the leader of the Sixers. Something is fishy, that's for sure.

I also have a feeling Skye OR the sister's "crush" is working on the inside for the Sixers. The Sixers might end up being the good guys, the colonel seems to be hiding something.

This show landed flat for me.
I just don't care about any of the characters. Well, that's a little inaccurate, I want the cop's son to be torn into bloody pieces by the carnosaurs.
Otherwise, it if went off next week I really don't care. Which sucks, because I was hoping to like it.

Pros:
-The chick Skye is hot.
-I like the camp and whole look of the show
-dinos
-many places the show can go

Cons:
-some shitty acting by a few of the actors
-teenage drama, which is incredibly cliche, son mad at dad and being a douche and rebelling haven't seen that before!
-CGI is sort of wack

I liked it a lot. I will watch.

I have hope the son will turn around after his dad saved his ass from nearly getting killed by a pack of vicious bloodthirsty dinosaurs.

I agree with some of the cliche complaints but I'm interested enough to keep watching. I also agree about Skye - yum and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Allison Miller is 26

CGI sucked. Plot was dumb in a number of areas. They had enough to do without putting grand conspiracy theories into it. Weapons and cars sucked. You know you are going up against dinosaurs. And some of them are big? Well guess what, it's 2149 and the weapons of 200 years before that would waste a tyrannosaur in a heartbeat. But do they bring weapons that would do that? No. They bring weapons that don't even seriously piss off a medium size dino

Loved it....The lil girl feeding the brontosaurus was so cool...Just the idea something so big actually walked the earth.The different time line thing really worked for me an the idea we humans screw up so badly to need to do this is great.I hope they tweak it a bit an watch the rating to see if they go up.
