Interesting take on Edward James Olmos' character.


I think Mos Def's character will be the Jimmy Smits of this Season (befriending Dex) although will not end up on the table in the end. This episode wasn't as strong as last weeks but was still good nonetheless. Looks like it setting up for some great episodes to come.

I like the idea, but one thing stood out that might dispute this. I've yet to see Dexter physically touch Harry, yet Hanks grabbed Olmos' hand in the second episode. Could be reading too much into it, but I guess it's something to think of.

yup, I saw the Olmos touching stuff too (on multi occasions), which methinks destroys the "he's a ghost, he is, really he is, isn't it obvious" theory.

as for Mos Def being the seasons "good guy who's really a bad 'un", hmmm, I'm more inclined to him being the guy who Dexter uses as evidence he himself can stifle(?) his own dark passenger and thus stop the all his killings. Though Dexter sans killing would a poor series make, so maybe he DOES stop but something horrific happens which leads him to release his DP. - soooo many questions

I still love Dexter for his reactions...Those goons thought they were gonna intimidate Dex in the garage an he just doesn't even contemplate fear what so ever.

Harry was holding a toy during one of the harrison scenes, but did think about that myself when he took up the mannequin head - still feel pretty sure about it

Olmos can still be a ghost/hallucination (did i spell that right?). If its only in their mind then they can touch stuff and do other things. Hanks is almost like Dexter. They both have a sister but they are in different directions of sorts. Can't wait for the next episode.

Tooth Fairy was a really good kill that fell into Dex's lap again tonight.I think the new lab assistant looking into the ITK,an the new hot shot detective may be real trouble for Dex this season.The preview showed Deb really freaked out bout something next week.
