Not sure why you'd want multiplayer in Mass Effect, especially this late in the game. Am I the only person who thinks it's okay for single player games to be single player games?

As long as the single player experience is as polished and amazing as the previous 2 Mass Effect games, I have no problem with them throwing it in. I know I won't ever use it for this game, but some people might.

The problem with them throwing multiplayer into games is that there will no doubt be stupid multiplayer trophies that will cause some people problems with Platinuming the game. It happened with the Assassins Creed games and the multiplayer element was awful (in my opinion) and made me give up my Platinum hunt with AC: Brotherhood

I for one prefer NO multiplayer.
Casey made it last Thursday I believe. I know BioWare has been testing some Multiplayer content for awhile. It was always believed it was for Mass Effect Spin-offs or when New Mass Effect Story Arc Starts.
If Multiplayer is announced, that is the reason why Mass Effect 3 was delayed. Multiple Devs already confirmed they have entered the final stage of Development on Mass Effect 3.

Then play the game for fun and not trophies. No one has a gun to your head. People are really ocd about magical numbers and icons that have no actual literal weight in the real world.
I love trophies myself but I will not hate on a game because of some trophies.
I really don't get the argument your posing. Its not like you have to beat the game under a deadline. Unless you work for IGN or 1up.
I would love to hear your conversation with your SO on why you decided not to buy a game. She might think your insane. Just saying.

Think you've really taken what I said out of context I'm not too far into ME2 and certainly won't be going for Platinum. With games that I really like I try to get Platinum but multiplayer trophies often prevent that because you have to spend an extra 40hrs+ usually trying to get them and often rely on the people that you're playing with. Red Dead Remption is a good example of that but fortunately a few of us on here were able to help each other out with those trophies. I know a lot of people on here DID platinum ME2 and that's why I mentioned it. Online trophies will make ME3 a lot more difficult to Platinum
