I don't like this guy because he bit off a woman's head for asking why he sends his kids to private school, while at the same time, has the nerve to cut education spending, the LAST THING YOU SHOULD EVER CUT!

I'm glad he's not some intolerant douche republican, but I don't think I can forgive him for what he did to that woman and cutting education.

He also said that he pays $38,000 a year in taxes for public schools that he don't utilize. Doh!

Sending his kids to private school is his choice. He doesn't have to do that.

The man sends his kids to a private school because it's his choice. He pays taxes to his public schools and he pays for his kids to go to a private school. His choice and his money.

As for spending on education, your remarks show just how uninformed you are on that issue. Not that that comes as a surprise.

Chris Christie had a ONE BILLION dollar hole in education funding created when the previous governor spent the one billion in one-time federal education dollars given to the state in a single year! An election year no less. So Christie was handed an education budget that had been cratered by his predecessor. DESPITE that, Christie managed to spend a quarter of a billion more in actual state funds than Corzine had spent the year before.

In addition to that, at a time when non-government employees were experiencing record levels of long-term unemployment and yet still having to pay their property taxes to fund NJ schools (at great hardship to many), Gov Christie asked the teachers union to accept a ONE year freeze on pay increases and to contribute a mere 1.5 percent of their salary toward their health care benefits. A perfectly reasonable proposition which was wildly attacked by the teachers unions who REFUSED to budge even an inch, which required that Gov Christie find other ways to make up for the 3 quarters of a billion dollars he was short thanks to the missing federal dollars his predecessor had to work with. Teachers in NJ got a 4+% annual increase in their wages every year, and the vast majority paid ZERO PERCENT of their health insurance benefits! WHO the fuck gets that kind of deal?!?!? Fucking government union employees in NJ, that's who! Hell, the head of the teachers union actually sent out an email to their members asking them to pray for Gov Christie's DEATH!!! What sort of sick fuck does something like that?!?!?

The greedy and selfish teachers unions are who you can thank for any cuts and layoffs of teachers that Christie had to make. Not that you would have researched this enough to know this.

The average teacher in NJ makes $50+K/year - for 9 months of work! They do extremely well! Not to mention that this does NOT include the value of their health and pension plans. Teachers pay ZERO percent of their health care plans, and those plans cover them and their entire family for health, dental AND vision!

You add tenure to the deal, making it nearly impossible to fire a teacher and giving them a guaranteed job for life no matter how lousy they are at it, and teachers are making out like bandits!

Of course, you wouldn't know this because you only chant the liberal line and believe blindly in your liberal sources.

Well you can thank liberals for that. Every time someone introduces a school voucher program, that would allow poor and middle income citizens to take the tax dollars they are wasting on "public" (read that government) schools and divert those funds in the form of vouchers to private schools. This is something liberal fight vehemently everywhere it rears its head. It is LIBERALS who don't want average people to have a choice in where their kids go to school.
