I don't think that would be necessary from a story point of view. Evidently Casey Hudson agrees. If people want to have fantasies of homosexuality, there's plenty of porn out there, and mainstream entertainment, too.
Leave Mass Effect out of it.
I did save Kaiden in two Catherine Shepard playthroughs. It made sense, if you went ahead and played in character.
Uh...and what about the gay, lesbian, and bi players out there who don't want to be forced to play straight relationships in their game? If you don't want to choose a same-sex interest in your game, then that's your decision. It's not as though you're required to do so. Why should everyone else be screwed over simply because of close-minded people?

Well, you see, when Casey and I spoke about this and made that decision...
OBVIOUSLY I had no input whatsoever on how Bioware decided to craft the story of Commander Shepard. Many great minds on their development team, surely not close minded, simply chose not to give that option.
And why should it exist in Commander Shepard's story, anyway? Indiana Jones doesn't do it and I'm pretty sure you enjoyed the films. Lara Croft doesn't do it and I'm pretty sure you enjoyed the games.
This "requirement" to have homosexuality present in every single thing is an obsession, almost as if religious fanatism. There are other games out there where you can play like that if you so choose, even from Bioware, I understand.
No one is "screwing" you, and if the decision to keep Commander Shepard straight bothers you so much, I summit that it is you who is close minded.
Thank you very much for your attention.

- Love interests won't all necessarily be permanent squad members in ME3 . Interesting new things happening in that area. - Still doing interrupts, but as with most things, the team has figured out some better ways to do them in ME3
I want my Mako back! At least for a couple of exploration missions.
You would one of the few who would want it back. Thankfully Mako is not returning. It was a pain to drive that thing in ME 1.
Bioware has already stated their will be no exploration in the main game. Best you might get is the return of the Hammerhead in the form of DLC(like Project Firewalker). Hammerhead Segments were boring as hell.

The Mako wasn't bad, the controls where. The general idea of the Mako was very good and they could have fixed the controls. The Hammerhead sucked too though so maybe BioWare shouldn't make a car game...

- We're aiming for same length in ME3 as in 2, but more replay. - With ME3 being the end of this journey for Shepard, we're trying new methods of drawing players into the emotion of that.

Smartass.
It's not a "requirement". But it would be appreciated by the minority out there who also play these games to be remembered. And you of all people shouldn't be accusing others of religious fanaticism. Wanting the option to be available doesn't make us close minded. Again, if you don't want to follow that path in-game, then don't. There's nothing forcing you to do so. We're simply asking not to be left out.

Gonna side with Sex Kitten on this one. Mass Effect is all about playing Shepard the way you want to. I see no reason not to have those same sex options in there especially as the dialog was recorded. If you don't want you're Shepard to be gay, don't. Just like if you don't want to kill the Rachni queen, don't. It's all about having the option and making the choice you want to... unless you're gay... apparently.
Just because you don't want to do it doesn't mean the option shouldn't be there.
