We are happy to announce that the eagerly awaited Battlefield 3 Open Beta starts Thursday, September 29th!
Running until October 10th, the Battlefield 3 Open Beta is your chance to play the game early, try out our free social platform Battlelog, and help us make the game even better by sending us your valuable feedback.
If you pre-order Battlefield 3 (PC digital download version) on Origin before September 25th, or if you have bought Medal of Honor: Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition, you will get 48 hours early access to the Beta, meaning you can start playing Tuesday, September 27th.
For Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the Open Beta will be visible on the consoles' digital marketplaces under Battlefield 3. For PC, you need to install Origin and download the Open Beta from within the Origin application.

Finally. I bought MOH last year and there was a sticker on it that mentioned the BF3 Beta
Not sure if this is of any interest to any of the UK memebrs here but zavvi are doing a BF3 deal where you get it for £17.99 if you buy a 3 pack of DKNY boxers (also £17.99) .
I bought Medal Of Honour: Limited Edition last year and it said that I would get early access to the BF3 beta when it was released. I checked my emails a few minutes ago and there was one saying that I could now access the beta. All that it said to do was to go into the psn store and search for 'battlefield beta' and it appears. I checked it on my nephews PS3 as well and it appeared on his too even though he has never played MOH so it should be there for anyone who wants to check it out now
It doesn't appear on mine. I'd rather wait for the game to come out anyway.

You won't be disappointed anyway. The graphics do need a bit of a polish and there's lots glitches that need fixed (my entire squad respawned inside a huge rock and none of us could get out) but overall it's very good.
I'm going to try not to make the same mistake that I did with the MAG beta though. I spent ages on it and ranked up to level 20 something and then when I got the full game I hardly touched it because I didn't want to have to unlock eveything again
