im not a fan of american idol, but i was channel surfing and caught this girl doin a pretty good version of patti smith's "because the night" she controlled the stage and her voice was good not great but good, so i got hooked and watched again this week to see how far this woman would go in the competition...she got knocked off on the first round..whatta travesty, now i know why i dont watch the idol....simply put becky smashed anything kelly(crybaby)clarkson ever recorded.......GO BECKY
