I think they have to wait about a year unless they sign with a Cowell related company (the way JLS did). Then after that time the public have forgotten about them and they release a poor record which bombs completely (just the way Laura White's debut single has)

I really thought Lucie was going to win this year too

WTF is wrong with these people? How come John & Edward, Lloyd are still in the show but they kick out the best singer? I'm in shock! Sheesh!!!

It's all tactical. Simon knew that Lloyd and John & Edward are popular with 12 year old girls so put it to the public vote knowing that they'd have the most votes meaning that the best singers (Rachel + Lucie) both got put out and wouldn't be a threat to his acts in the later stages.

The show is a joke this year and Cheryl's now the only reason that I'll keep watching. I kind of hope John & Edward do win now just to prove what a load of bollocks it really is

This show has become a joke this year. John and Edward are horrible, Simon raves about his acts and puts down the other acts no matter how good they are and now Lucie, one of the best singers in the whole competition, is out. I will still check out Stacey's vids if snoop posts them but there is no reason to watch the whole show any more now that Lucy is gone.
