And the losing streak continues for the Hurricanes. That's 12 now! Can we officially classify last spring's playoff run as a fluke? I wouldn't say so, though it was a bit of a Cinderella story. Sticking with the Canes, Cam Ward left the game after being cut by a skate. They just better hope it's not as serious as the cut Andrei Markov suffered in the first game of the season.

Detroit sucked ass tonight. WTF was that? They lost to Toronto 5-1. I actually threw up in my mouth a few times during that game.  And I watched Calgary-NYR which was no less shitty. Both teams missed the net like 30 times and the rest of shots were blocked. The rest of the play was in the neutral zone. No fights either. Calgary won 3-1 but I was bored to tears.

That's brutal. I had no idea the injury was that serious. There goes his chance at being the scoring leader in the NHL this year.
