I almost totally forgot this started tonight!

First episode started up where the last left off - Awesome

I like the new subplots and John Lithgow looks to be incredible as Trinity

Great first episode to start the new season

ah goddamn Dex got him self in a pickle right out the gate.... can't wait to see how he deals with it and balances his murderous ways with family life.

and will rita find out about his aprt? that would be bad

Can't wait to see how this season unfolds. ALso decided that I am going out for Halloween as Dexter this year.

oh man, that should definitely be good (character death)! i think Lithgow will not disappoint. Best written show on these days!

it's soooo good to watch Dex be bad!!!!!!!!! he's juggling to many things right now with the family an work and trying to be the best serial killer he can be.

Another great episode!

(1) Hope they don't do the "Dexter confesses to baby and is overheared by Rita over the baby monitor" thing that's been so many times.

(2) Could that lady reporter be Lithgows daughter - just trying to guess the kinda twists the show will come up with this season.

(3) Mislaying corpse filled rubbish bags - not clever Dexter

and what's with Quinn trying to be all buddy-buddy?

He is doing that because dex saw him stuff money he found at a crime scene in his pockets. He is afraid dex will tell on him, but Dex could give a damn because he has his own problems.

Quinn needs to die. I think he sucks and he's a douche

I am loving this season so far and love how Dexter has to juggle his new lifestyle.

John Lithgow is so cool and creepy as Trinity.

Ok... maybe i missed something.

Dex finds and matches the fingerprints on spray can and pepsi can as the teenager.

yet he finds out it's the kids dad...


so it was both? He made it seem like it was all the father yet what about the fingerprints?

It was both, from what I got from the episode.
Kid most likely was just spray painting when his father went out. Father did the more aggressive things(like the car, broken windows,etc...)

What did Trinity leave at the scene? He opened a jar and rubbed something on the ground.

His mother's ashes. He later emptied the jar and poured them back into the urn.

One of the few shows that never disappointed me.

I took it to be the kids prints were there cause he might have used the paint for anything. Dexter didn't know it was the dad till he went into the kids room. To me the Dad was the only for sure guilty one.

the lady cop dexter kills was hot as shi*, pretty, big rack, bubble butt, looked amazing in jeans, etc. Wish she worked at the station and not just a slain dexter victim.

After catching the end of this past weeks episode it the other night again I noticed a few things

Lundy had a look on his face right before the shootings almost like he knew the person
The shooter wore black gloves where trinity wears white ones

Dont think the shooter was Trinity as that doesnt fit his 'pattern'...

and Anton wouldn't shoot Deb aswell, plus the biggest crime he's committed was smoking weed...

Has to be the Vacation Killer!

Great show yet again. The acting this week especially from Jennifer Carpenter was great.

I was thinking the same thing. Jennifer brought her A Game in this episode. I think it would be quite hard to do what she did.


Dex is so smooth

anyone else find it odd Quinn's been the first at EVERY scene so far (of the vacation murders) and he was so giddy when they made the arrest? that was strangely odd (the giddiness).

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but probably just to throw us off.

But he has always been a snaky SOB so i wouldn't be shocked if he was the one popping caps

And it just gets better and better

The last episode was very very good. Dexter finally learned what family really means.

Rewatching last week's now before the new episode. As soon as he brought out the gifts I was like: Oh, no Dexter, nooo!

The show has taken a monumental turn with what happened last night. This opens up a lot of possibilities now

What mistake did dexter and quinn is like sergent doakes I wonder what will happen to him until the end of the season.
This season is magnificent.

the end of that trailer is MONEY. Lithgow is perfect. His mood swings are interesting to watch, like his "surprise" for Dexter. a little jig, for that? that's insane. definitely enjoying it a lot. every season, better and better.

I know, I went back and read your old posts.. That persona hadn't crossed my mind until the last ep.. Now, I think you're right. The writing is better this year than last, so they might throw us for a twist.. (But I still think you're right)

Last nights episode was the best of the season so far.

Things moved slow for awhile but now things are in full movement and I can't wait to see what happens these next 3 episodes. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

I don't know about your Deb theory, (although you're usually right) but Deb seems to be about solving the big case and advancing her career. I think she'll go for the bust rather than murder. Not that it matters, 'cause Dex is gonna slice him first..
