Some parts of capitalism is bad. There are areas of business that can pretty much corrupt the people any which way they want. Such as the insurance industry. What a horrible negligence of capitalism.
Some people are scared about the government running our lives, rightfully so. But really how much different is it when big businesses band together and pretty much run how you live. Capitalism is a good idea, but left unchecked can get bad. I'll expand on this further more some other time.

How about think of the constitutional right to do as you damn well please!

Interfering in this right has yielded an American government that is even more oppressive than European socialist governments.

I, for one, am sick and tired of government telling me that they know better than I how to live my life!

You might approve of government telling you what lightbulbs to use or what foods to eat or what activities you should participate in to keep yourself "healthy" and what not... but I DON'T!!!!

How are European governments oppressive? I don't know where you got this idea that the Soviet Empire did not die but was merely shifted in its geographical location to western Europe.



Well no it was intended in jest but there is a case to be made that people who are willingly unhealthy and in hospital all the time are probably forcing up the price of your medical bills.
