I'm hoping for a little actual discussion in this thread, just making a list is boring, and this forum is plagued by topics that are either simply lists or simple a video of gameplay.
Anyhow, here's a list of the games I'm most looking forward to in the future:
Wii Metroid Prime Trilogy Metroid: Other M Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
PS3 Bayonetta Bioshock 2 The Last Guardian
PSP Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday
I'm a huge survival horror fan, so a new Silent Hill is amazing. Also, another survival horror franchise that I had pretty much given up on returns...Parasite Eve. I wish it had returned on the PS3, but I'll take Aya any way I can get her.
Although Resident Evil long ago abandoned survival horror, I can't seem to shake it out of my system, especially when the game actually bothers to involves Umbrella, zombies, and variations of the T-Virus...you know, the things that made Resident Evil popular.
I'm also a huge Metroid fan. Playing the first two games of the Prime side-story with Prime 3's controls will be great. But even more amazing is that the main series is finally getting a new game...the first since 2002. Hopefully a return to a Samus that isn't sluggishly slow and tank-like. Other M seems to be blending 2.5D with some 3D 3rd person and a bit of 1st person.
Bayonetta, brought to us by the people who created Devil May Cry, looks amazing, and looks like it will have enough different about it to stand apart from the Devil May Crys, Ninja Gaidens, God of Wars, and other games in the genre.
The Last Guardian....Ico is still one of my favorite games, and Shadow of the Colossus is great. Can't wait to see what Team Ico pulls out of their hat with this one.
Bioshock is one of the few FPS games that has enough different to make it interesting to me. So I'm also interested to see how the sequel turns out.

I am incredibly excited about two in particular:
Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Dirt 2.
Other than that, Street Fighter IV is coming this week to the PC, and my SFIV/MadKatz controller bundle is already preordered!

Final Fantasy 13, even though I have to wait until sometime in 2010 for it. I've always been a huge Final Fantasy fan and I expect big things from this game!
Aside from that, perhaps Guitar Hero 5, depending on the setlist.

I'm waiting for Dragon Age: Origins. From what I saw on E3 it looks like an excellent action rpg. Lots of different variations throughout the game should make for good replay value.

*doh*
I also forgot to mention Assassin's Creed 2. I'm looking more forward to that than Bioshock 2. Supposedly they have done away with the EXTREMELY repetitive missions that we saw in the first one and haven't we always wanted to be able to kill 2 people at once with 2 different stealth blades? He's got a pistol up his sleeve now too Yep. And Leo Davinci's flying machine was actually realized in the game and you can use it to fly around (while enemies try to shoot you down). Davinci was also the creator of the stealth gun you mentioned as well.

And now Lucasarts is re-releasing their classics!
On wednesday, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis will be available. I'm eager to hear more about it.
