Remember, overly self-righteous = push people away from Jesus.
You're not going to bring anyone to God with your doctrine.
Now EE_EE...
Let's try to respect one another's faith ok? That is why I don't get into arguments with someone else's doctrine.
After all, are we not susposed to be christians here? Should we not try to set an example? If not, then we're certainly not acting the way Jesus would want us to as His disciples.
Besides, this only adds to matt's ammunition against us.

Wrong. I'm not talking doctrine. Your lecturing with several verses on condemnation to anyone who is skeptical of Christianity only pushes them away.
Jesus sent his disciples to teach the Good News of the coming Kingdom. How his Father offers blessings to those who believe. Not doom and eternal torment.
True, there is an element of impending destruction, but your obsession with sending everyone who disagrees with you to the blazes of "Hell"... not bringing anyone to God.

If you had to choose to live in a certain culture that has existed on earth, what would it be? Would it be a culture formed by a different religion? Would you like to live in an Aztec or Mayan society or maybe you'd like to be a Sikh or Hindu in India or a Muslim somewhere?
