Word on the street is that Conde Nast are already warming up the lawyers. That will take out almost all the remaining mags. Perhaps we should start our own?

I don't understand what the magazine companies feel they are gaining by doing this.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

Perhaps reverse psychology would work. What if we refuse to post images from their magazines on this site? Do you think they'd feel rejected, and come crawling? edit: I have just been informed that the publishers of 'Psychology Today' magazine have requested that I not to use the word 'psychology' in future.
