This weeks SmackDown...
Really fun show - Edge's opening promo was enjoyable, and Hardy coming out with his face painted like Mystique from the X-Men was hilarious.
The Kendrick-Hardy opener was good, given a lot more time than I expected, and Kendrick also shined a lot more than I thought he would. His buzzsaw kick ruled, and Hardy busting out the Big Show's alley oop/whatever Tori called it was a surprise, and looked great thanks to Kendrick.
The divas match was perfectly fine and did a good job of building up McCool's heel turn while making Maria out as the lead face with the Bella twins as her sidekicks.
Kozlov vs. Matt was considerably less interesting, but at least kept Kozlov in the main event mix.
Mizorrison vs. the Hillbillies was fine comedy, but wasn't given a chance (nor was it supposed to be) a "good" match. Festus goin' a clubberin' ruled.
HHH vs. Shelton wasn't as exciting as some of their past matches, but had some perfectly acceptable action in it. Plus, HHH was moving around pretty quickly - I never expected to see him do a sunset flip after two blown quads, but he pulled one out here and it didn't look too bad. The crossface, however, did given his poor job of trapping the arm. The tie finish was a fresh ending to the beat the clock format, and the prospect of an Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. HHH triple threat for the belt sounds much better than Kozlov vs. Jeff vs. HHH after watching Kozlov-HHH at the PPV.
- If the iNDEMAND synopsis is correct for TNA’s Genesis pay-per-view in January, it looks like Mick Foley will finally be wrestling for TNA at the show. Below is the synopsis just released:

The Intercontinental Championship Tournement is not designed to find William Regal a #1 contender for his championship, it is designed to start a feud between The Miz and Morrison vs CM Punk and Kofi Kingston for the World Tag Team Championships.
