Quote: --Paul Burchill's future WWE prospects appear to be grim as the English wrestler is said to be on the chopping block. Burchill hasn't been used since the night after SummerSlam when he got the "jobber entrance" and was squashed by Batista in a two minute match.
I like the Burchills and wish they were used more. I mean why not have them team with Regal, they were supposed to be friends right? Why not have Noble ask for one more match with Regal, Noble wins, but gets jumped by Burchill. Leyla tries to stop it, but Katie Lea takes her out.

Charlie Haas now has an account on the WWE Fan Nation site. He posted a brief noting asking fans which WWE Superstar (past or present) he should impersonate next.
I told him to do The Rock.
Do you smell what The Haas is cooking? That would own!

Since returning to the SmackDown brand, there has been some major heat on the WWE Champion Triple H, mainly for him going out of his way to make the younger talents look bad on camera, especially guys like MVP and Shelton Benjamin. PWInsider.com reports that lot of the guys backstage were upset about Triple H's recent promo and went to The Undertaker for a resolution, of sorts. The Undertaker agrees with the younger guys and says he understands how they feel.
The belief is that a backstage showdown is on the horizon between The Undertaker and Triple H, due to the way the WWE Champion treats people in the locker room. Many people think that Triple H would get his way in the end, but the one person that Vince McMahon respects and trusts the most above others is Taker. Triple H wouldn't lose his job obviously, but some kind of change would have to be made.
The Undertaker sees SmackDown as his team and the Superstars as his boys. If he isn't backed by McMahon when the time comes, he might take more time off to take care of nagging injuries as a way to show his displeasure. There's already a feeling among some close to the situation that Triple H wants payback for his loss at WrestleMania 17, and is pushing to end The Undertaker's winning streak at WrestleMania 25.

Kevin Eck of The Baltimore Sun has posted an article on TNA star Kevin Nash possibly being WWE-bound. According to Eck, Nash has privately said that he is "planning" to go to WWE, wrestle a year or two, and then retire. Eck did a big interview with Nash a few months ago and was on hand for his appearance at a Maryland Championship Wrestling show last month. Nash's TNA contract is set to expire before the end of October and it is unknown if WWE is interested in bringing him back as a performer. On the plus side for Nash, he is good friends with Triple H & Shawn Michaels, and is still on good terms with Vince McMahon. Even though WWE officials told their employees to stay away from people employed to TNA during WrestleMania weekend, Kevin Nash was invited to watch the event in McMahon's private luxury suite at the Citrus Bowl.

Undertaker's hardly a beacon of selflessness either (though the general consensus seems to be that he's just doing what he's told 95% of the time), but it's nonetheless pleasing to hear of someone finally having the gall to stand up to HHH, whose treatment of mid-carders lately has been as sickening as anything during that notorious 2002-2003 ego trip.
For those of you that didn't see the promo that got everyone so upset, it was on the Smackdown before Unforgiven. HHH was in the ring talking, when Shelton, then MVP, interrupted. They gradually started arguing amongst themselves on the ramp, then HHH cut them off and said something along the lines of the following:
"You guys don't get how this works, do you? It's the show before a pay-per-view, so I come down to the ring and talk about defending the championship. That's called a "promo" (air quotes, smarks in audience giggle). Then you guys come out and interrupt me and talk a bunch of trash you can't back up, I cut you off and say something about you or your family, you charge the ring in a fit of rage and attempt to beat me up, but I turn it around on you, knock you on your butts, you run off to the back and we don't see you the rest of the night. None of this ringing a bell? *turns to crowd* I swear to god, I'm gonna be champion for like, the next century."
Is Triple H's "fourth wall" comedy schtick really grating on anyone else? I can't stand it anymore, it reminds me of the God awful DX reunion of 2006. HHH is boring as hell.
We all know pro wrestling is fixed and pre-planned, but it's his job (and he IS the world champion, for crying out loud) to make us believe it is, or make it more fun to pretend it is.
Mick Foley's departure from the announce table makes it much easier to skip Smackdown (Which is a shame, as SD has been my fave show for the past few years), and HHHs SD migration makes RAW more palatable. The King of Kings sampling of Jesus' "gimmick" invites contempt from the pious and agnostic alike, and his unworthiness while wielding the Thor-esque hammer offends the pagan mutants who pray to Heimdall and read Marvel Comics.
Truthfully, I've been weary of the That Damn Schtick since 2001, which I associate with the real pre-DVR doldrums of suffering through the unmotivated One Promotion Wrestling Universe. Still carries himself like the smirky Master of the Promo, then never gets around to being entertaining.
I dont think HHH can do anything to refresh his career like 'Taker, Jericho or ever HBK when they've made comebacks. Face HHH is one dimensional, Thats why the did DX again.
I'm not even sure a heel turn would do anything to make him watchable again because it'd just be another case of Same Old Shit syndrome.

Quote: If HHH ends Taker's streak, we will never hear the end of it. I dont think that anyone should ever end Takers streak.
Agreed,
Undertaker doesn't need to lose to a "nobody", just someone who'd benefit more from ending the streak than a guy who's already been an established top-liner for a decade. Think Orton in 2005, or Edge last year. Middle grounds, and all that.
Also, i'm still holding out (after FALSE HOPE that i'd see it sometime in '07 or at 'Mania 24) that at 'Mania 25 we will finally see 'Taker Vs. HBK

Wait, what's that Steel Cage Warfare main event? I know Necro had been kinda moving away from AOTF, but is he really going to be his own damn team in that match?

No seriously, this event looks AWESOME, and those two matches should be MOTYC.
Please let us know what the show (and THESE TWO MATCHES in particular) were like...
